Mr Arthur Nevay has been awarded the honour of Citizen of the Year by Benarty Community Council at a reception held in Lochore Bowling Club. Arthur is well known in the area where he run a men’s hairdressers and has been involved in much of community life over so many years.
Arthur wrote a number of books on the history of the local area and this is also available on a number of websites including http://www.glencraig.org Arthur was the National Secretary of the Hairdressing Federation and also served on the International Federation and is known throughout the country for his drive and determination to improve training opportunities for young people in the industry.
