Cardenden History Group

Members of Cardenden Local History Group visited the Scottish Parliament this week and toured the building learning about the short history of the design and uses.

The local group have been active with many projects examining the local history and giving talks to local groups and schools as well as hosting exhibitions.

The group met up with Alex Rowley MSP and discussed local and national issues. Mr Rowley said; “I am always happy to arrange visits and tours for local groups and there is much to see in this very different in design building. It is well worth a day out to Edinburgh and all local groups are very welcome”.
