Cowdenbeath High Street
This week saw local people and traders come together in Cowdenbeath Town House to discus how everyone could work together to support the sustainability and rejuvenation of Cowdenbeath High Street.
The meeting was organised by Alex Rowley MSP who had invited Community Development Trust Scotland to give a presentation on the kind of work that local communities are involved in supporting the regeneration of their local High Street areas. A group has now been formed that will visit some other projects and see if there are ideas that can be tried out in Cowdenbeath and it is intended to keep working to get more people involved.
