New Bridge making progress

I attended a briefing this week on the progress of the new Queensferry Crossing and was told that the project is on time, below budget and should be completed by the end of 2016.

The story of how the bridge is being constructed is fascinating and the project team are encouraging schools to visit the project headquarters where there are displays and education programmes explaining the engineering of this massive project.

Saturday open days will also start up from march where members of the public can visit the centre and as I say it is fascinating to see how the bridge is being constructed.
