With 25% of Scots already living in fuel poverty and the Scottish Government once again missing their own climate targets, a perfect storm is brewing that requires immediate action in the domestic housing sector. We are doomed to fail on hitting these climate targets if we do not take serious action to reduce household emissions, which account for a fifth of all emissions in Scotland.
That is why it is crucial that we build homes fit for the future, where energy consumption is cut saving residents money on bills and protecting the climate.
